Hotel Accommodations
Gamma Iota Sigma has secured a room block at Hyatt Regency Columbus for a discounted rate of $175 per night plus tax. Sustaining Partners may reserve their hotel rooms by calling 614-463-1234 and referencing the group code Gamma Iota Sigma's Leadership Symposium or reserving online by July 15, 2026. 

Student Attendees
The Grand Chapter will reserve hotel rooms for all student officers registered to attend the Leadership Symposium, regardless of registration type. Students, please DO NOT make your own hotel reservations.

For chapters sending a second attendee, the registration fee includes the cost of the attendee's hotel accommodations. Grand Chapter will coordinate and book all student lodging arrangements directly.

All student registrants will receive an email no later than one week after registering with instructions for booking their travel. It is imperative that travel arrangements are made as soon as possible after receiving this information.

For students planning to drive to the Leadership Symposium, Grand Chapter will cover parking costs and reimburse mileage to and from the event. A reimbursement form and instructions will be distributed at the conclusion of the Leadership Symposium.

**Cancellation/Failure to attend Leadership Symposium will result in the chapter being invoice for any related travel costs incurred.**

**Students have accommodations for August 12-14, 2026. Please note your arrival date is August 12th and your departure date is August 14th.

Parking:
Students: If you are driving to the Leadership Symposium the Grand Chapter will be paying for your parking. Please indicate that when you arrive and check-in at the front desk.

Sustaining Partners: The hotel offers self-parking or valet at your discretion.

STUDENTS PLEASE READ:

Leadership Symposium Travel & Lodging Information

  • Grand Chapter will cover the travel and hotel expenses for the chapter's first registered attendee.
  • Students who drive to Leadership Symposium will be reimbursed for mileage up to 500 miles.
  • Chapters sending a second attendee may book travel on their own or through the designated travel agency. Travel costs for second attendees are the responsibility of the chapter and will be billed accordingly.
  • First-time attendees are responsible for arranging and covering their transportation to and from the airport.
  • Grand Chapter will book hotel accommodations for all student attendees (first, second, and third attendees). Please do not book your own hotel.
  • All registered student attendees will be assigned a roommate of the same sex.
  • Grand Chapter will provide all meals during Leadership Symposium, with the exception of dinner on Thursday, August 13.
